Mauricio Nunes dos Reis is the founder of The Global Credit. A Brazilian software engineer turned publisher, he built the site to answer a question he kept hitting as an expat and a reader: why does clear, math-first financial guidance stop at national borders? He designed and operates the AI research-and-drafting pipeline behind the newsroom — a system that grounds every article in primary sources such as issuer terms, regulator guidance and current rate data — and he personally reviews and approves each piece through a pull-request workflow before it goes live, the same discipline he applied to code review across more than a decade of software engineering. Under his editorial lead, The Global Credit has grown into a multi-language publication serving readers in six languages and 15 countries, with strict rules on sourcing, disclosure and updates. His focus is the plumbing most readers never see: editorial checklists, fact verification, structured data and the update cadence that keeps rate-sensitive articles accurate long after publication day.
